Unisys Signs New IT Outsourcing Services Contract with City of Minneapolis

Building on longstanding relationship, Unisys and city continue innovative work to benefit citizens of Minneapolis

BLUE BELL, Pa., January 24, 2008 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that it has received a five-year contract to provide IT outsourcing services to the city of Minneapolis. The contract has a value of $48 million, assuming the contract runs for its full five-year term.

Unisys will provide the city with outsourcing services through 2012, continuing a relationship that began in 2003.

Unisys will provide a full range of outsourcing services to manage the city’s complete IT infrastructure, from the data center to desktops and mobile devices. The Unisys services, which range from technology planning to end-user support, data center management and network management, benefit all agencies of the city government, including the mayor’s office, city council, fire and police departments and the public works department.

“Our outsourcing relationship with Unisys has enabled city government to realize significant operational efficiencies and IT cost savings,” said Lynn Willenbring, chief information officer, city of Minneapolis.

“By capitalizing on Unisys expertise in IT management, we have been able to focus our internal IT resources on new initiatives to benefit our citizens and business community. As we go forward, we anticipate achieving new levels of service for the citizens of Minneapolis.”

Unisys manages the city’s virtualized server environment from the Unisys data center in Eagan, Minnesota. Unisys recently announced an expansion to its Eagan data center that makes use of “green” technology as well as restoration of associated prairie land – benefiting the city, other Unisys clients and the surrounding community. Unisys has helped the city reduce the number of servers it requires by about 55 percent through virtualization.

“Innovation, service delivery and cost reduction have been the hallmark of Unisys outsourcing relationship with the city of Minneapolis,” said Randy Hendricks, president, Unisys Global Industries. “Unisys intends to build on that commitment to help the city achieve its goal of providing a continually growing range of government services to all constituents around the clock, 365 days a year.”

Unisys has a longstanding relationship with the city and under other agreements will continue providing infrastructure support for critical applications and facilities, including the city’s 911 emergency and 311 non-emergency call systems and two mobile command center vehicles, which provide wireless network access for disaster management. The command center vehicles were instrumental to the city’s emergency response in the August 2007 Interstate 35W bridge collapse.

Forward-Looking Statements
Any statements contained in this release that are not historical facts are forward-looking statements as defined in the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. All forward-looking statements rely on assumptions and are subject to various risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from expectations. The city has the option to renew this agreement for up to two additional, two-year periods but the value referred to above does not include such elective optional periods. Statements in this release regarding the total value of the contract assume that the city of Minneapolis will continue the contract for the full five-year term, and will not elect to end the agreement early, which is entirely within their discretion. Because the agreement may not continue for the full five-year term, and agreements with government agencies are subject to the availability of appropriated funds, the value is not guaranteed. Additional discussion of factors that could affect Unisys future results is contained in periodic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
