Unisys Wins Three ICMG Awards in Recognition of Innovative Predictive Freight Solution and Vertical Industry Leadership
ICMG Australasian & Asia Pacific Enterprise Architecture Excellence Awards spotlight Unisys' digital transformation capabilities in travel and transportation
BLUE BELL, Pa., July 17, 2017 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) – whose solutions process more than 20 percent of the world's air cargo shipments – today announced that its Predictive Freight Solution was named Best Software Architecture at the ICMG 2017 Australasian & Asia Pacific Architecture Excellence Awards, recognizing achievements in the field of enterprise, business and IT architecture.
The awards were presented at ICMG's Architecture World Summit in Sydney on July 13-14.
A jury comprised exclusively of industry professionals honored Unisys' predictive freight solution for its modern, cloud-based architecture and ability to greatly improve supply chain visibility and route planning. Unisys Predictive Freight is an integral part of Digistics™ by Unisys, a holistic and integrated cargo logistics solution that enables carriers to streamline their freight management and improve operational efficiencies.

Additionally, ICMG honored Unisys Vice President and Global Lead of Travel and Transportation Dheeraj Kohli as a "Top Business CIO" in recognition of his ability to drive business growth by leveraging innovative enterprise & IT architecture. Specifically, the jury felt Dheeraj demonstrated a new way of innovative thinking and effective decision-making in helping to develop industry solutions that exemplify IT and architectural excellence.

Unisys' Industry Director of Freight Solutions Venkatesh Pazhyanur was also recognized at the event as one of ICMG's Top 20 Chief Architects in ANZ and Asia Pacific 2017, acknowledging business leaders using IT architecture practices that are designed to handle rapid change, support growth initiatives and influence capabilities that serve as business differentiators.
