New Next-Generation OS 2200 Servers: Dorado 400 Series

The ClearPath Dorado 400 Series is the first Dorado family of servers based on the ClearPath Next-Generation Server Architecture. These entry-level servers run the OS 2200 operating system on Intel® processors. At the same time, they deliver the ClearPath attributes you expect – including high levels of reliability, availability, and security.

 

Representing the first phase in our transition to the Next-Generation Server Architecture, this server is the first milestone in the Next-Generation evolution that will ultimately deliver a virtualized environment running ClearPath OS 2200, ClearPath MCP, Windows and Linux within one physical partition.

 

The Dorado 400 Series is an ideal platform for smaller OS 2200 applications, development, and test environments.

 

The Dorado Model 430 is a metered server with Pay-for-Use business models. The Dorado Model 420 is not metered and features traditional licensing models.
