Asset Discovery for Open Source

Unisys developed an automated infrastructure discovery tool called IT Modeler for Infrastructure Optimization. It “spiders” through your IT environment to identify assets that may have been deployed without knowledge of support groups, identifying which elements could potentially be replaced by Open Source components. It is also ideal for enterprises in which Open Source components have started to penetrate, to identify the extent to which they have been deployed in your environment. This tool also includes a modeling environment, which is compatible with 3D Blueprinting models, to provide you with ultimate visibility into how changes in your infrastructure will affect your business operations.
