ClearPath as an Open System
Organizations such as The Open Group and the W3C define an open system as one that exposes industry-standard internal and external interfaces. This paper examines ClearPath systems from a number of perspectives and shows that they are open by this definition. However, ClearPath systems also exhibit mission-critical attributes, especially reliability and security. The combination of open and mission-critical attributes makes the systems an ideal platform for enterprise transaction processing.
