What is the Unisys Innovation Program?
The Unisys Innovation Program (UIP) is an industry-academia contest in India that inspires students to tackle tech and business challenges with their brightest ideas. This strategic initiative fosters innovative thinking and problem-solving skills among engineering students.
From its modest start in 2009 as a paper submission contest, UIP has evolved into a ten-month mentorship program. Over 76,500 members from 2,200 institutions have participated, with the latest edition attracting 7,327 enrollments and 749 idea submissions.
Submission focus areas for year 16 center on emerging themes in technology, including:
- Connected world
- Immersive experiences
- Innovation beyond boundaries
- Practical AI
- Quantum moves mainstream
- Super charged developer
- Sustainability equilibrium
- Zero Trust security
Students who enter this contest will work on new technologies under subject matter experts from Unisys, who will mentor the teams and bring their ideas to life.
Who is eligible to apply?
This opportunity is open to engineering students across India. We're seeking imaginative visionaries with the ability to craft cutting-edge innovations. The UIP provides a platform to hone professional skills, present technological ideas to industry experts and become a valued member of the Unisys community.
What are the benefits of this program?
UIP fuels discovery and offers participants a glimpse into their professional journeys.
The program empowers students to reshape the trajectory of India's future through technological innovation. Students have the opportunity to exhibit pioneering ideas and bring them to life with the guidance of subject-matter experts.
